Tom R Lanting is an Australian author from a Dutch/Irish background. As a student, he became passionate about ancient cultures and further took that with him mixing it with his love for travel.
Along with his love of ancient culture, he became a pagan from his early teens realising it more reflected and allowed him to be more nurturing of his real self.
Tom finally settled in Scotland meeting his husband. Together they became the first legal gay handfasting in the UK. Tom work with the Scottish pagan federation as their lgbtqi+ officer.
Tom’s first book originated as a guide for Scottish pagans and references Scotlands progress in sexual inclusion.
His second book is a journey around the ancient world to showcase the natural belonging of lgbtqi people and was written to help people feel a sense of belonging.
Tom lives in Edinburgh with his husband Ian
